What are you going to get?
One of these days most of you will get tired of your Preludes, or it's going to wear out (that day already came for me). There' a lot of good choices out there, but, of course, no Preludes! If you had to get another car next week, what would you buy? (And don't say, "I'm going to keep mine forever". That's fine if you are, but what if you HAD to get something else?)
i want a lotus.
but i'll probably get an audi a4 wagon for the lady, if she's around that long and we end up married, and drive a 5 series or a subaru legacy GT.
i'm keeping the lude forever. after it retires from daily use, ill dedicate it as a race car and maybe run in NASA or SCCA roadracing.

I had a 92 that I loved to death. I just sold it to my friend and now I have a 98. Sadly I hate it. I thought it would be just as much fun to drive as my 92 but the car feels so much heavier, makes it feel way slower, and I hate the way it shifts. It has been 3 months since I have had the car and I am already looking for a replacment. I really like the new Scion TC, but I couldn't leave the Honda family. Other then that there is not a damn thing on the market used, or new that catches my eye, so I am stumped for now....I guess I could find another 92 lol
Most folks eventually work there way into the sports sedan phase of life. I did and thats why I bought my Maxima. I may keep the Prelude and have the chassis totally restored but if not, when the motor or tranny finally goes up, I might be letting it go. I'm totally undecided as to which route I would take but my next car is already here, just not driven daily yet.
