perhaps the unlikelist choice - i want something a little more practical, more refined, and still unique. So I'm looking at the 2006 Audi A3 coming out next may as the replacement for my 98 SH

I've already decided on that....... Acura TL six speed w/o navigation. I'm just going to wait untill the wheels on my Prelude litterally roll off.

I have 106,000 and they're still on.

Nice - i hit 106 last week. Just got my timing belt and tuneup done today(:squint: $$$$), too soon to know if I can tell any difference...

By the way - anyone know if part of the timing belt procedure would cover checking the valve clearance - i was due for that and forgot to mention it specifically.

I did my belts and the whole thing last year (brakes front and rear too).

One thing I noticed off the bat...... the engine was a whole lot smooooooother! (I thought it was smooth before hand, but over time you don't realize when you drive it every day) Of course, I replaced the plugs and adjusted the valves while I had the engine appart. And I do recomend doing that while you are at it.

Just realized you already had it done. It's not hard to have the valves adjusted, just time consuming.

I did all the work with the help of my uncle, so I was able to get everything done including my brakes for under 500.00. But I know it's expensive if you don't have that luxury.
