Default OBD II Code Reader

My check engine light came on today and my friend has a code reader that tells ya wat the prob is. Only thing is i dunno where to plug em in on the ludes. I have a 2000 lude. He has a 97 teg and his is behind the center console.

its on the passenger side, to the left of the seat and forward. u just have to take off the carpet covered panel. its right behind it.

:wtf:

the obdII outlet is ALWAYS (unless its a 95; in b/w obd1 and obd2; or a german made car) underneath the steering wheel, either on the right or left side underneath...
i work at autozone...I check probably 3-5 OBDII codes a day...Never have I seen an OBD II have the outlet on the passanger side.

Well - guess what. The 5th gen prelude has the connector on the passenger side of the tunnel under the radio. There is a small carpeted piece that you pull off and you then find the connector and the 2-pin connector as well.
BTW: Still for sale an AutoTap OBD-II unit for your home computer or laptop.
