Default turbo kits

Ive been looking at ways to get more hp. Was looking at N2O but am now looking at getting a turbo. Ive been looking at the turbo kits, are these kits everything you need for a stock engine? Theres a few on line around $2500-3500 for up to 8psi if I remember correctly. If I bought one of these kits would it simply bolt on? Is this the best option to go or is there a less expensive route that will still work fine with a stock engine (apart from cat back exhaust, air intake and a vafc which will be tuned when I get the turbo)

The turbo kits just bolt on, but it isn't anything you want to do yourself. I've heard good things about the F-Max and the Drag kits, their are a few people on Preludeonline that have those... but if you want to save a little money you could try to do a custom job.

Default Turbo choices

I think the turbo is the next best way of getting power for the money(next to nitrous). The only other way I could think of getting horsepower other than intakes and exhausts is internals engine mods like stroker kits, pistons, camshafts, and head porting. For a little more money, though.

im considering going with upgrading the internals. Can this be done a bit at a time or is it something that I should wait and install everything together?

Default Engine Internals

To save a little bit of money do all the mods at once, so you don't have to go back again and again to the shop to get it done. Its also good to do it at once, so the block doesn't need to be opened again and again with the potential of damaging something in there. But to answer your question, you can do it a little at a time, but it is better to do it all at once.
