Just bought my Honda...
a 1986 Prelude Si
This coupe is very clean, only has 112K miles and is definitely fun to drive. The clutch is going, but that'll be replaced over Memorial Day weekend. I never knew how nice these things are interior wise (supportive bucket seats, great looking dash, power group, sunroof, etc, etc). The A/C even blows ice cold. The exterior is even above average for being 18-years-old and a Michigan native its entire life. I'm very happy. The exterior is white and it's gray on the inside. I'll snap some pics soon.
I'm starting to look at some clutch options...what do you guys think of these?
ACT - $223.72 (40% pressure increase: HD pressure plate, street disc, t/o bearing, pilot bearing, alignment tool)
Centerforce - $147.05 (30% pressure increase: matched pressure plate and disc; NO t/o bearing); t/o bearing is an additional $42.78*
Clutchmasters - $123.95 (OEM replacement: pressure plate, clutch disc, t/o bearing, pilot bearing, alignment tool)
*is a new throw out bearing required?
Beck/Arnley (AZ & Napa) - $182
Napa reman - $116
Cumberland (AutoZone) - $105
I'm not looking for very high performance since I'm leaving it pretty much stock, but do you all recognize any of these as being better than the other?
What looks like the best choice to you guys?
