Default HAN members: Falken Azenis Groupbuy 205/50/15

Thought I would let the Lude owners in on this

We have a pending group buy in the works for HAN members. Buy may be hosted by Phil's Tire Service

Falken Azenis Sport

Size: 205/50/15

205/50/15 is the only size available on this particular buy.. If you can manage to pull together a group for another size, let me know.

I used to run 215/45/16 on my SH for autox, I have now switched to 205/50/15 due to price, and it lowers the gearing substantially. The difference in contact patched turned out to be minimal.

Pricing to be determined, more buyers=more discount

Let us know if you are interested in the link below, and check the link for further details.

To anyone I may have frustrated.. (ie the Mods)

I had cleared the idea of posting in multiple forums w/Chris N and 94civicex
(chanc).

I'm not a vendor whatsoever.. just an auto'xr interested in saving money, and attempting to get tires @a lesser price for my fellow HAN'rs.

I am in no way profiting from this group buy.

i'm on the 205/50/15's right now, and unless you're willing to shell out for $150 BFG/S-03 in a 225/50/15 trim, there's no other tire to be on for auto-x.

although i really wish falken made a 225/50/15 azenis. need more rubber under my car to compete with all of those damn 2600 lb ITR's or AWD WRX's...

do they slide like a POS on rain? I live in WA it rains a lot here, its probably better for me to shell out the extra $50+ / tire for better rain traction what do you guys think?

It all depends on how important dry traction is to you. I live in Michigan and for the first half of the tread wear I don't worry about rain on the freeway much. After that, well it's a different story. Dry traction is the most important thing to me and going a little slower when it's wet out is well worth it, imho. Just have enough self control and know the limits and you'll be fine. I will be buying another set.
