Question, are the USDM H22A 93-96 standard pistons, flat on top, with small impressions for the valves. The reason for the question is we have a JDM H22A engine that we are rebuilding and the pistons we've taken out are slighty domed and I'm wondering if they are TYPE-S pistons. We are planning on purchasing JDM TYPE-S and if I have them there is no need to purchase new.

they are both domed....just the type-s has a slightly larger dome.
