Default mounting type r pistons one B18A rods

I've got to mount some integra type r pistons on some b18a rods, and some civic type r pistons on b16 rods, but they don't fit. I think I've got to shave some of the rod down. Does anyone know how much I have to take off the rod?

shouldnt be TOO much, did you try finding the exact specifications for the b18a or b16 original pistons? then you can compare them with the new ones and see exactly how much you should shave....

where would I find the spec for the length of the part of the rod that connects to the wrist pin on a b18a, or a integra type r, or a b16, or a civic type r?
Anyone have any clue?
