sure i wouldn't mind a stock SH

but a) not this particular SH b/c of the FUGLY bodywork and b) not at this price.

if anytihng i'd get an '01 base for 16,000 which is the KBB for my EBP 01 base lude and spend the extra 5,000 on an LSD, a new suspension, and some bolt ons.

also it's called VTEC, not Vtech. Vtech is a phone manufacturer. and i'm not sure why you'd think 10 whp is a huge change in hp, but i wouldn't exactly call it a "Huge Change"

as far as worrying about who put the kit on, I probably wouldnt worry too much. It looks like whoever did it matched it up real well as far as paint and corners-edges and stuff. Looks professionaly done. And if you ever dont like it , you can always change it. See if the person selling it still has the stock bumpers. If not then you might worry about collisions and stuff. If you get this car you definitely gotta do me a favor and smash the hell out of those tail lights. Oh yeah and get some 18s on that biatch. But definitely dont settle for 21.5 gs. Try and aim for about 17-18. You just have to remember. It may look like a really nice car or sound like a good deal, but the person is selling it for a reason. Once you find out that reason, then you will know wether to buy or not.

lol... HUUUUGGEEEEE horsepower gains right there with the dual exhaust even though we only have 4 cylinders.... so now we're doin 4-2-1, then back out to 2... makes sense? probably not...

ugly ass tail lights... the kit i could deal with... afterall.. they were popular before crap and the furious... cant blame the first owner.. probably bought all the show and none of the go after seeing the movie or something...

but anyways... he's askin WAY too much IMO.... to put things in some perspective.... I bought my 97 SH with 68k miles last year... i'm second owner for 8900... no accidents reported on it.... no emissions failed, came with JBL amp and rewired speakers all around + clarion HU.... just a daily driver for the previous owner....

tell him to go lower with the price... and hey... you can always back out of the deal... theres a lotta preludes on the market nowadays...

I would not buy a riced out Honda. Even if you derice, chances are they beat the hell out of the car and the engine. I've never, ever met a ricer that took good care of anything but their exterior and occaisionally interior.
