Default Craziness!!!!

Ok, Ive probably lost my mind, but how hard would it be to twin turbo a lude?!? Specifically an H23 since its larger and turbos help it more. Ive kind of got an idea, but i just dont know the plausability of it working. Even if I turned the boost down on both to where its just as powerful as one turbo I wouldnt care.

well... the builders talent and knowledge has alot to do with "how hard it is"

I'm guessing this is supposed to go in a straight line?

It IS possible, but i wouldnt do it. for the same reason I-6 Supras and I-6 Skylines and vr4s, usually convert to one larger turbo instead of 2 smaller ones, because the top end power more than makes up for the low end spool up, also you have to consider that we only have two cylinders to push each one instead of three. in my opinion, twin turboing should be left to v configuration engines (v6, v8). i remember hearing about some pro, that has a TT Gsr and i guess its way fast but the single turbo guys are faster, and you would have to put tiny turbos on to fit in the body of a street car, especially with an h23 But that would be pretty sweet to have a tt h-series. if you go through with it, let us all know how its coming. later

a good point was brought up in the thread you just linked to. Someone said TT is for show purposes and that would be the case for me too i guess. Me and my friends are really big on shows and having a twin turbo setup would definitely turn some heads even if it wasnt meant to be driven fast. I pretty much just thought of this because I just thought it would be cool to say I have a TT setup. Anyways if I ever do decide to do this It wont be on the car I have now or at least not untill I do more stuff to it.

it is .1 liter larger.
imo tho, a properly built and tuned h22a will provide more overall power and probably more torque too in VTEC mode.

for anyone here who hasnt already heard me preaching...
BOOST LOVES VTEC...or...VTEC LOVES BOOST
depends on how you look at it
extra lift under high boost helps engine breathing tremendously
its the duration that causes loss of power

IMO it would be retarded to TT a 4 cyl. BUT thats only because i would never do something that isnt effiecent. A TT 4 cyl wouldn't be any better then a Single turbo, acctually the money your going to spend on 2 turbos would be a fully built motor that its like 300+ hp easy.
but then agian
It would be like pimp factor 9. i mean a TT accord? only for shows it would be pretty cool
but for speed, it would be retarded.

lol, either way, if you do it, i wanna see it
