mainly because i think id be losing time with me driving manual.

also how much would the engine cost in total?

lets say its 2000$, shipping like how much? like 500$?

and installation? how much would someone charge to swapl an engine?

what kind of tranny do u have now?
it has to be an H series automatic, i dont think the F series auto will fit or last for that matter.
longevity is a factor
you will probably need to get an h22a jdm auto ecu, or you may be able to keep your TCM and just add the h22a ecu

that price sounds about right, you may be able to find it for cheaper
if you live in/near NY i could install it for you and also build you an engine for about 3000

thats a 0 miles h22a installed

i live in texas :P

laredo texas, furthest south u can go before u hit mexico q;D

would it be better off, spending 3000$ getting an h22a?

or 3000$ spending it on my f22a1?

im sure an f22a1 with 3000$ worth would run pretty good,

how would a h22a jdm auto, run in a qm? stock? considering i spend 3000$ just getting the motor in?

i was considering fixing up the f22a1, but since it has nearly 150,000 miles, i figured getting an h22a would be my best investment considering it would be less miles.

well you could build up a f22 quite nicely for $3k.

It's still only SOHC and non-VTEC. But it would be a nice ALL motor car.

EBAY EBAY EBAY. They are always selling H22s with auto trannies for cheap because most people want a 5 speed. That is your best bet. H22 has more options to build on also.

stay away from the sports shit tranny.

get a 4th gen auto if you must. personally i think you're better off with a 5spd because, well, they're flat out faster if you care about that kind of thing
