its located on top of the tranny, closer to the radiator. its a black cylindrical object with 2 wires coming out of it.
its secured to the tranny with a 14mm and a 17mm bolt
17mm is around 47ft-lbs

judging by your description of the clicking, it sounds like the starter is broken
first give the starter a light bang with a metal object, like a hammer, etc
and then try to start it, also have some1 try to start it while tapping the starter with the hammer
this usually free's the frozen armacture, which is the main failure in the design of hondas starters (mitsuba)
you can also push start the car, which is actually an adventure.

so to change the starter
disconnect the starter ground cable (13mm)
disconnect the starter signal wire (clip)
take the 14mm and 17mm bolts out
take the starter out
there are miscellaneous brackets and wire holders that will also need to be removed, but you should be able to handle it

i dont think its the starter, cuz it looks fine to me. The clicking isn't coming from the engine, but from rather inside the dash somewhere i think. Whenever i try to start the car, no reaction is presented in the engine, however, I hear a click when i turn the key forward and a click when i turn the key back while inside the car. No sound can be heard from the engine, only from inside the car itself. The sound seems to be coming from the left of the steering wheel. Also, the car flashes the head and tail lights whenever i open the door and also makes a ding-dong sound. Dunno if that's just to indicate that there's a general problem with the car. Also, I'm thinking maybe my car wont start because of a lock feature for the car?!? Dunno if there are any for the lude, but I'm pretty sure that the starter's fine. And ludeboom, thx, but I'd rather not go for the magical adventure of pushing my car. HELP ME!!!!!
thx in advance

i'm guessing it's your starter motor. had a similar problem in my 91 Legend LS coupe. reinstall the starter and try banging it with a pipe or a hammer (no joke) and then try cranking it. or, get a ride to autozone and have it checked out.

EY, I've solved the problem. Turns out the previous owner had installed an alarm which I dint kno was still operational. He mentioned that the alarm had a starter kill switch. So, I used the alarm remote he gave me and turns it it worked! Thx to everyone who helped me with this problem!!

 an alarm "remote"

information that would have been useful YESTERDAY

well it was the starter, because the kill switch blocks the ecu starter signal from reaching the starter, the alarm is just the reason the starter wouldnt engage
