its located on top of the tranny, closer to the radiator. its a black cylindrical object with 2 wires coming out of it.
its secured to the tranny with a 14mm and a 17mm bolt
17mm is around 47ft-lbs

judging by your description of the clicking, it sounds like the starter is broken
first give the starter a light bang with a metal object, like a hammer, etc
and then try to start it, also have some1 try to start it while tapping the starter with the hammer
this usually free's the frozen armacture, which is the main failure in the design of hondas starters (mitsuba)
you can also push start the car, which is actually an adventure.

so to change the starter
disconnect the starter ground cable (13mm)
disconnect the starter signal wire (clip)
take the 14mm and 17mm bolts out
take the starter out
there are miscellaneous brackets and wire holders that will also need to be removed, but you should be able to handle it
