where'd you buy the engine from? Don't most places that deal out JDMs offer 30 day warranties etc? Or did I not read properly and miss a part about how after install, all blame shifts onto the installer? Good luck man, it's a bummer, but i hope you get your redemption, and that you don't have to pay for it, or not much anyway. Keep us all in the loop, there are other JDM-hopefuls (myself included) out there that want to know little tidbits of info like this.

if u want ill visit you and if u have a replacement head ill strap it on for you and change your timing belt and tensioner for FREE because this is boosheet and HAN members deserve better than this.

that's ok i got it back thurs. and it still don't run right so i sold it to my cousin for 6k he said he would fix it. now i have the enough money for a down payment on a fifth gen. but thanks for all the help i'll be sure to ask for your help with the new prelude when i get one
did you ever find a place where to get that bolt??????? mine snapped to...the dumb****s i had replace my timing belt put all associated bolts with a 2000ft lb gun and stressed the bolts...i recently put springs and retainers in and had to take everything apart and putting it back together i just touched the bolt with the wrench and SNAP.......

ouch, what a bunch of bozos. The previous owner took my car to a Honda dealer and the monkey that changed the timing belt there (I guess every dealer has to have a moron for a tech) didn't properly tighten the tensioner .... hmm, what's that noise at idle .... "flap flap flap flap flap flap flap...." lol, can you say unwanted advanced timing? Luckily the belt didn't skip any teeth, but damn, $400+ for a service and some serious damage could've been done.
