Thermo-Tec Products Installed
Hey all just installed the Thermo-Tec wrap on my turbo prelude.
I covered my turbo, turbo manifold, and turbo piping
Took about 2 full days to wrap everything. the wrap had something like fiberglass that made me itch for a couple days after. the metal snap straps from Thermo-Tec worked great to hold the wrap in place but they cut the shxt out of my hands very easy.
the wrap had some smoke coming from it when driving but it was normal because the engine had to get to operation temp for the exhaust wrap to cure and break-in
i painted the wrap on the turbo manifold and piping with the Thermo-Tec Hi-heat coating black paint.
The underhood temps have become much cooler with the wrap. you can actually put your hand a couple inches from the turbo manifold and barely feel hand burning heat. I give Thermo wrap 2 thumbs up.
