are all 5th gen cat converters the same?

well, are they the same or not? i want to replace my gutted cat with a stock one for now. i have a good deal lined up and i want to know if it will fit. i have a 97 base and the guy has a cat from an 01 base auto trans. thanks

Should be a direct fit. The setup changes if the car is an SH. If you are unsure-call a dealer parts department to verify.
