ooo. no business license. that could get them in some uh oh.

online ordering is safe, if you're smart about it. I would always advise using a credit card (all CC companies have their own policies and fraud preventions, u can always do a chargeback on any products you buy if you're not satisified with it)... u should NOT worry about someone stealing ur CC #s but u should worry about the merchant you're dealing with... online security isn't really an issue, the honesty of the merchant is.

if I saw this thread earlier I would have told u to file a transaction dispute with paypal (since you paid shipping with that.. and I'm guessing its a lot) Paypal is another company that is very shady too, (they've ripped out many of their users) and I would never recommend them to use for large volume transactions.. but u can still file a dispute and sometimes they can get ur money back (sometimes they can't)

if u paid with ur credit card through paypal to them... u could have done a chargeback and what paypal would do is freeze their (black flag)'s paypal account...

some tips on online ordering... (use ur credit cardas long as its 128-bit secure)... always be wary if seller indicates long delivery time (ie: not in stock) anything over 30 days is just simply not reasonable, and not safe (u can only do a chargeback with your credit card company after so long), just wait for the items to be in stock before u order. Or, place a deposite and make a special order.

I hope things get fixed for u... they can get in some trouble for not having a business license, but making retail sales...

good luck man.

Update: I have still not received my kit or the 485 I payed for the kit and I have already filed a police report with the Roswell Police Department about 1 month ago. They told me that a detective would call me in about 2 weeks from reporting the crime and the detective has still not called me. Another memeber has also been a victim of these scum bags so we are trying to work together to get our money back, my parents may even sue the company for fraudlent activity and other cool ****:naughty: One of the guys aim handle is PEDUB so if anyone wants to give him some **** about it then feel free.

Thanks,
Tom

Default maybe some helpful info

Paypal has a protection policy. You may qualify buyer protection

As far as the dude who jacked you, you would want to give a police report. Sometimes the cops won't take one. In which case, you would want to contact SD county District Attorney's office.
SD DA . They will unilaterally determine whether you case has merit and proceed from there.

Since the alleged crime occurred via the internet, you should also contact the FCC

Also try consumer affairs

When this guy realizes you are serious, he'll probably weigh the consequences between giving you your money back pr possibly facing criminal charges.

Good Luck Bro. Hope you get this guy.

Peace

RIL

P.S. BTW, save all your info..the DA will want to look at it. If you have a log of events, that would be best.
