Default WTB D-16 on Oahu HI

Hello everyone. i am asking on behalf of a coworker who is in need of a new d16. he has a 91 civic hatchback(Si)and it's consuming a lot of oil and in need of a rebuid. i told him that there are plenty of d16's available due to b16/18/20 swaps. vtec is not that important. just a healthy motor and harness. please reply if you know anyone on oahu, hawaii w/ an extra d16.

91 civic SI hatchback, it should be a fairly easy swap. d16-d16!. his motor makes a James Bond Smokescreen when he drives it. good thing he has another car and 2 motorcycles to drive instead.

well i got a d16 v-tech coming up soon hopefully by next week I will be done with the swap. he just need to wire the v-tech on his own. how much is he willing to pay for it? the motor is in good condition, I just had the head machined and had it port and polish including intake manifold and throttle body.

i would guess 4-500 bucks or so? depends on condition of engine. not needed to be tricked out, he just needs a good engine. too bad i didn't still have my civic or else i would have sold him mine and got a b16. oh wait, i forgot, i blew #3 cylinder w/ nos on that motor!
