The charges usually get dropped if the "offender" shows up in court, but they said they would rather hassle the general public out of doing it. Do I agree with this type of policing? Hell no. My company, up until Louisiana passed a law preventing such, had a no weapons policy on the premises, you couldn't even keep them in your car.
