Forced Induction?????
- Which is best for forced induction system has the least room for "operator error," in all aspects.
- Does a Supercharger have an advantage vs. a small turbo when it comes to turbo lag?
- Which is your best bet for: easy to install, straines the engine the least during agressive driving, is proven to keep the car fairly reliable and dependable, and sounds very smouth. Turbo, supercharger, or keep building.
- Which cost the least, yet is proven to give power in torque all the time.
Don't ahve a whole lot of knowledge but here is what i do know.
Superchargers sine they are driven by your actual engine suck away a little of the power being produced.Plus they wear down your belts a lot making you replace them frequently. (sorry, don't know exactly how many times, a couple times a year i believe) Also superchargers provide better power in lower RPM range while turbo provide better in the higher RPM band. But other than checkin your belts i've heard there is no real maintenance work needed to be done to super which is a little easier.
My dream, instal both in a car someday, that way leading toa continuous boost of power through the entire RPM range. lol. completely impractical.
