We've all heard news of the TF Animated series by Cartoon Network. The art looks pretty much like Batman / Superman / Justice League / Teen Titans / etc ... and I hated it.

I don't care what the cartoon looks like, that Grimlock is amazing. I really like the cartoon like build with exaggerated features.

 

Classics 2.0 Sunstreaker and Sideswipe = new Lambos. :bowdown:

Classics 2.0 is due out in 2008. This will feature 8 new deluxe ($10) and 4 new Ultra ($30) molds. From what Hasbro is saying ... this will not be a direct continuation of Classics 1.0. The figures might be a bit movie influenced.

I don't mind the dark Prime. The original version is one heck of a figure. Cliffjumper ... just doesn't look right. Again though, killer figure.

I'd love to see that 08 Camero mold done in a darker color though. Silver or black would have been so cool.

 

oh. i don't like any of the movie toys.

oh well, maybe some of them will still be worth the purchase.

Jin Saotome is a repainting GOD. He's very resourceful when it comes to modifying figures. His hand crafting skills are great too.

I cannot believe the prices his figures fetch on eBay. I'm not sure what he does for a living, but my god ... how nice of a side job would this be?

 

At first i thought this was going to be in the stores...i was gonna say HOT DAM i gotta have this.

 

compared to Jin's version, this looks like a prototype / work in progress.

 

of course this stuff is some impressive work,

but 1) it's not what you get in stores..

and 2) in many cases...
