Default Former Iranian president speaking at Harvard on Sept 10th...

http://www.telospress.com/main/index...article_id=130

i guess capturing hostages at the U.S. embassy ('79), helping purge universites of progressive thinking (involving torturing students, '97), and being the former president of the nation's #1 enemy country qualifies you to give a talk on tolerance at Harvard.

the hypocrisy is amazing.

maybe harvard wants to hear his argument on why his country's policies are the way they are? that there may be a method to his "madness"?

I would be interested in what he has to say...not because he is a leader in human rights, but because of his unique position. I think that is what Harvard is aiming for. A lot of political science and history is simply sorting out bias and point-of-view.

I too would be really curious to hear what he has to say. Maybe he's repentant and has seen how is actions may have changed the world for the worse? Or maybe he's defensive and we'll get to hear candid justifications for his behavior. Either way it would be interesting to say the least.
