From a TFW review of the crystal cassettes:
I wonder who's idea it was to "get creative" with these? 
Overall, if you're willing to pay the price (I paid $50 shipped for my set) and you can stomach supporting people making bootleg TFs, then I'd say go for it.
I'm glad that whoever it is that is making these is getting creative with them and making them in fun colors. Had Hasbro or Takara made them in these colors, I would probably have not bought these bootlegs. I could even see myself buying more of these guys if they were in red or yellow, or even another colored translusent plastic.
