Monk...Jeff...you know I was only joking about the Plasti-storage-tub OG statement in that earlier post right?

If all goes well, I'll have a MP Prime in every stage of transformation on my shelf.

Nothing is firmly set yet. If anything does manifest, I'll post here.

I will never ship something as tubby as that AFA P-King to any international destination ever again.

  • Finding a box for that tubby SOB was tough enough.
  • Did you know that the Aussie Postal service has a L+W+H = 79 inch limit?
  • Did you know that the US Postal shipping interface on PayPal didn't know that fact?
I got to the post office. I could hardly understand the woman behind the counter mumbling at me that I had gone over the measurement limit. The box I put it in totaled L/W/H of 81 inches.

There I am, 10 min before the post office closes. I'm tossing out packing peanuts, cutting down the box, re-packing it, re-taping it, and standing in line all over again.

This mo-fo didn't pay extra for insurance on this international shipment. Between the disgruntled US Postal service and the Mad Max Aussie Post, it will be a miracle if this thing even gets there intact.

You know what? I'm so f-ing annoyed right now, I don't give a fart if it gets there intact or not. I hope that once it hits Aussie shores, a Koala Bear decides to take a hot, steaming dump on it en-route to delivery.

Never ever again.

...

so...

How's everyone else doing this fine evening? Any new packages arrive?

DHL attempted a delivery today. It could be one of a few things:

Brave Max/Gigastorm
1st Reissue OP
TRU UM

My guess is it was SOC sending me my cassettes and OPs. I guess I'll find out tomorrow. If it is from SOC, Andrew, the package is half way to you.
