Neither do I. This set looks like it was done right. Nice packaging, good display, and some on the TFW board say that the figures are animation accurate in their paint detail.

I could care less about Waspinator, Eagle-dude...rat something-or-other, and the rest of them...

This is an Optimus and Megatron...you get the two best and main figures in one kick-butt set. If there is ever a "must get" item from a line, it's usually Optimus and Megatron.

 

Hmmm ... I might check out TRU during my lunch break. The have 20+ units of the Energon leader 2 packs. They've been there for about 14 months, hopefully they'll price break soon.

I preordered these a few months ago. I kind of liked the show.

Will the KO Prime be coming with scotch tape or factory-looking tape? I'm not sure I want to spend that much on a bootleg with instructions sealed in a sandwich bag.

That exhaust debacle hurt my credit card...I thought this month I'd be able to get my bill back down to three digits, and instead it nearly doubled. Keep in mind that I pay in full every month, and have a mortgage to pay as well. I think I may have to go Hammy's route and just sell off all my TFC's. :wavey:
























Ok, I'm not gonna do that, but I'm definitely going to scale back on the spending. That said....if you guys still have trouble meeting the minimum for the KO, I would probably go for an OG and both sets of tapes.

 

Until Galaxy Force, Beast Wars had a very good story ... well from what I saw. If anyone is interested, I have all the seasons (DivX dvd rips) on 4 or 5 DVD-R's.

my KO Prime (which could be totally different from what Monk and Hammy got):
- No instructions, only a sticker sheet and figure checklist which didn't match the generation G1 Prime was in. (Galvatron and Rodimus Prime were on the checklist)

- The accessories were in a resealable cellophane bag. Think of it like the stuff easter egg baskets are wrapped in. It's about 5in by 3in in size.

- The tape from the G1 version compared to the Jafcon was totally different. G1 looked real, Jafcon looked like premium 3M packing tape, but thinner.

I can do it...I was just on the fence about it. And it's not like I'm strapped for cash...I just don't like my account balance not to increase. My birthday is next week and my girlfriend keeps asking me what I want, but I think it's kind of weird for me to buy what I want and have her pay me back.

Anyway, you can mark me down for an OG and both sets of tapes. I don't think I'll be going Jafcon black....maybe when the box changes.
