so it looks like it's the same exact thing.. don't know if this was already obvious.

fascinating info, btw, andrew.
Of all the Euro molds to choose from ... my god. They could have done it from G2 Prime any G1 Prime ... even a GiGi Dialcone ... but they found the legendary press that made the red foot variant.

An MISB red foot Prime sells for more than 5G's.

Someone pressed the bootlegs off of the strangest G1 variant of all time.
That actually makes some sense. Rarest mold may have been forgotten and not destroyed?

I'm thinking this must have been some factory owner's keepsake. When they stopped pressing the red foot primes and due to the popularity of TF's world wide ...Ii bet someone took home a souvenir.

I don't know if I want a blue glassed one or a normal red one now.

blue
+ I don't have one yet
- It's made after the NYP from 4 years ago

normal
+ identical to 1985's
+ much higher value
- i already have one

If we need another purchase, I'll take 1 more normal and one blue windowed. (2 total)

That's a pretty cool history lesson. I'll have mine tomorrow.

I can't believe the monster this has become. Andrew found the original KO, I stumbled onto a US supplier with decent negotiate rates, and now we're talking about a mass purchase.

Optimus Prime = greatest toy of all time ... I'm pretty much conditioned to fork over ANY amount to get a piece of history.

So ... what's the final signup list looking like?

from Takara themselves ... Wheeljack, Sunstreaker, and Mirage's molds are far beyond repair. The only way we'd ever see these figures is if a press pops up on the black market.

I'm in for a red, blue eyes ... if there's an open spot nobody wants, I'm in for another red with yellow eyes.

that's too bad. wheeljack is a sweet looking TF. i'm almost tempted to buy an original and a repro kit.
