Reno...

If you're going to get Red Alert, might as well stop by a KB Toys and pick up a Sideswipe.

nope. I tried the spirit of cybertron seller. Who knows, it may be his U.S. cousin.

Yeah, I biched and complained that $150 was a rip, and I know it's a rip, but I couldn't stop myself. It's like I have a disease. Basically, when I knew I couldn't get this in HK, I got desperate.

great, now the fire is lit under my own ass.

anyway, i really think this guy got these KOs from the guy in china (trainee007). maybe he bought them in bulk. i mean, what are the chances that there are two sources producing KO primes.

You're probably right. But I figured Trainee007's prices are going up and with shipping, it will basically be the same as S-O-C's price. If that's the case, I'd rather go with a domestic shipper and save potential import headaches.

Also, FYI to you guys, if hasbro finds out about this and raises a customs flag, your stuff can be seized by customs as bootleg. Copyright/trade infringement and such. I've imported enough stuff over the years and have seen this happen. But since we are dealing with such small quantities, shouldn't be a big deal. I just didn't want those mofos to potentially "inspect" my goods.

^ yep, i'm leaning towards s-o-c for the same reasons. that and trainee007 hasn't had anything up. i figure this is a very limited time offer though. not because of the limited life of the molds or anything, but because i figure hasbro will catch wind soon enough, and shut this down (at least on ebay).

Yeah, but they can't stop everyone. I opted for the original one, not the blue eyes. I figured if you're buying for the true G1 feel, this fits better.

I think i'm gonna buy another bookcase this weekend. You know, to prepare for primus, max, and the other random stuff.
