one of the most odd Pre-TF's out there ... Mechabot-1. Hasbro would buy all sorts of rights to toys to fill out the TF line. Jetfire, Roadbuster, Shockwave, Omega Supreme, and others were all rented presses.

It looks like this run of Chinese BL's are using authentic molds from back in the day. The only thing making these BL's different from the legit versions is that they lack Takara/Hasbro's stamp of approval.

Shiny gold, silver...transparent...full metal...translucent... those are
Don't get me wrong, I have an OP problem too, and it probably won't stop any time soon, and I'll probably get the other color variants as well. I just find it funny that we're all going nuts over fakes.

I think the craziness over a BL is because all of our collections are at a "comfortable" level and we may be a bit bored. Most of us have what we want. We're adding to our collections, but not with the same urgency as in the beginning. Something new pops up, and we go nuts.

In addition to my OP problem, I have a Megatron problem. Problem is that I have the attainable legit ones (e-Hobby, 16-S, 16-S Black, TFC 06), and I go and buy a KO Megatron just because.

Most of the authentic ones I've seen are either opened or the box is beat up. For $60 I can get a 99% authentic looking Prime with a excellent box. I'm not crazy about the idea of blue, yellow, green, orange, or clear Primes.

bingo.

this is what $150-ish will get ...

it's at $103, reserve not met, $20 shipping. On top of it all, I think it's in Spanish.

vs
($85 shipped for me)

now, we're not going bonkers over the $150 tag, but all this interest was generated around the $90-ish level.

I said I wasn't crazy about them, I didn't say I wouldn't buy them.

Although I highly doubt they'll be listed for less than $100 now.

$150 is my limit ... I've never purchased a figure in the $200 range, nor will I ever. TF's are fun, I may never see a gold one again, but I can live without it at that point.
