Default NSX 97 to NSX2003 conversion

howdy,
i have just bought a used 97 NSX-T(targa), would like to find out if it is possible to convert the front of my 97 NSX to the 2003 NSX look - the front headlights, front bumper, bonnet etc. BTW i am writing from Singapore. Many thanks in advance. :awais:

I'm no expert on this, but considering the low production of the 2003 model (less than 500 were produced), you'd probably have to get the front clip and all the parts directly from Honda. Probably through a very good body shop (one who actually has worked on an NSX before..... not very many since aluminum is a very tedious metal to work with). And I have aboslutely no idea what the market is for such in Singapore. That's how it is in the States. Good luck.

There's a lot more to it than the front clip. For example, the hood is a different shape where it fits with the headlight units. For the entire swap, expect to pay $6,000 or more. You'd be better off trading your '97 in for an '02-04.

Not the stock ones, you can't. They won't fit. The hood is a different shape where it meets up with the headlight units.

ohhh.... well there's something new I learned. I thought you can just buy the aftermarket fixed headlights..yeah your right the fixed headlights have a more rounded off hood. Nice attention to detail.
