Default Anybody browse the NSX forum?

Damn...when them NSX and Corvette people get going, it gets pretty crazy. This appears to be the general arguement:

NSX :blah: VTEC > OHV
Corvette :blah: Z06 > NSX
NSX
Corvette

Personally, I'd take either one. But since I can afford neither one, I guess I'll have to be content with watching the two camps fight it out on the internet.

sad day when an NSX owner thinks his VTEC is like a engineering marvel or something. figure if a guy makes enough money to buy a car like that, they would have a bit more common sence

myself, id rather import an R34 GTR for less than an NSX. NSX doesn't exactly have the best motor in the world

i think that the z06 > nsx:dunno: and yea, the nsx engine isn't ballsy enough for its size. now the ctr b16 got some balls for its size, but the nsx...... noh:

given a choice, I'd take the NSX for sure.

however, for speed on a (semi) budget, I'd say the Z06 is definently a wiser choice.

without a doubt, the Z06 is a better overall performing car. sure the nsx is a good match for it on a road course, but like everyone says, it costs alot more. but the reason becomes appearant when you sit in a Z06, then you go sit in an NSX. just a whole different feel

i dunno how you can justify spending 90K+ on the NSX. it's a great ride, but for the money, there's soooo much else out there.

I'm thinking that someday, I might buy a used NSX. It's tough to beat the sound of a Chevy smallblock though...

I think the insurance on the NSX might be higher too, it's expensive overall and the aluminum body panels are probably hard to replace.

Oh well, keep dreaming...

there's no maybe about it ... your insurance will be jacked, that's if you can find someone that'll cover you. not every company is willing to cover a 20 - 30 year old with an "exotic" car.

I was quoted $1200/6month on a 1997 NSX-T

I would choose the Z06 since it's a ton cheaper!
