is it rwd? if it's not, the i35 could be dead after this generation.

Yeah, I really doubt that they'll bring over the Teana. They did say that they want to go all RWD or AWD for infiniti, so it would be out of place. I still don't understand why they're still keeping the I35 alive, unless it's making decent profit and they want to complete the model cycle (4 yrs.) before discontinuing it.

The acura dealer told me that the auto is programmed to shift at the most economical levels, and that makes it more gas efficient, wierd, u'd think the opposite, but they flat out told me before I even asked that the auto got better mileage.

Look on the window sticker of any awd Infiniti FX and you'll see ATTESA ET-S.

Well the reason for this is that...the next gen m45/m35 will be coming out for the 2005 model year. yes it will be redesigned allready because the japanese version is due for an update. and when it is redesigned there will be a v6 variant that also comes out. when this happens...the I35 will be gone. the g35 is not as roomy as the i35 and infiniti wants to keep a car in the lineup with a rommier v6.

I35 is already gone after 2003. The Maxima is updated so there's no reason for Infiniti to sell a version of a car that Nissan doesn't even sell any more.
