the next scion
Everyone expects it to be some form of the Caldina. It probably will be, but a watered down version I bet. Since Scion is aimed towards youth (read cheaper cars), they won't be able to bring the top of the line turbo edition here, especially if Toyota still wants to sell Celicas.
Don't hold your breath on anything spectacular. Like velfarretokyo, mentioned Scion focuses on value and dollars. If the Xc comes out to be a sporty model, it'll probably be the modern day Paseo. Remember those things?

I am dissapointed
3SGTE Caldina ownz me
The next Celica is due in 06, and it will be a Toyota again. Scion's executives have stated that they won't chase the youth segment with traditional vehicles such as sedans and coupes. They'll try and market crossover vehicles that are more popular with people under 35. Since Scion won't be developing any vehicles itself, they'll just be rebadged versions of their JDM counterparts. So I think a watered-down Caldina is a safe bet. However I'm sure it will arrive with a stronger engine than the 1.8L in the xA and xB. One thing that is interesting about Scion is that they said that after each model cycle an all-new model will take the former's place.
