well.. i didnt see the pic, but unless it gets any bigger, i think its a death trap waiting to happen. just take a stock excursion, park it behind the convertable...not much speed would be needed for the truck to go right over it. How about any raised truck... I guess you can always say, same thing as a miata...but i guess its not my prob.

 

yeah i was scared that i was teh only one that thought so, it just doesn't make sense like that pt cruiser droptop (which is also quite IMO nasty)

That C-pillar blind spot is dangerously huge... I hope they add vinyl slit windows, like on the outgoing SL Convertable...

MUNICH, Germany -- BMW Group will build a convertible version of its popular Mini car.

The company ran its factory in England at full capacity last year, building about 160,000 of the cars. It plans to increase production by around 10 percent in the next few years, according to Reuters.

CEO Helmut Panke says the new four-seat model would probably be on the market by the middle of next year.
