no it's the special 14L version
h:you don't need high redline when you have 2000ft/lb at 3000rpm

I hate i-Drive...... I HATE IT, I HATE IT, I HATE IT
.
How in the world are you supposed to navigate the stupid thing while driving a manual transmission? In my car, if I want to change from bi-level to just floor on the climate control, I can just press a button even between shifts (how ergonomic my car is
). But this thing needs 34 twists, clicks, and flips to find your climate control and another 75 to set it. We should just go back to making air conditioning an option

Here's a pretty detailed article on it from AutoWeek: http://www.autoweek.com/cat_content...._code=04158216
I haven't read through it enough to see if iDrive is standard or not, here's hoping it's optional. There's also a photo gallery in the article.
Just a random note: This "Active Front Steering" seems very similar to the the S2000 typeV's VGS system although probably with less of the formula-car feel to it.
So the claim that BMW has the world's first system is in fact false--Honda did it first.

According to Autoweek a 6-speed manual is standard on the 535i, 530i and the 545i. Awesome.
One thing though, I remember reading the next M5 will only come with SMG. Thatll be really gay if a 6-speed manual is standard on all 5-Series, yet not offered on the M5.

I think I can safely say this is my favorite BMW ever. I can't wait to see it in person.
Those last three pics really show Bangle's shadows/light theme......it works well on the 5 I think.

agree with the tail lights comment.
