I'll take a Chrysler 300C and save a few pennies.

Then again I like Chrysler too much.

Autoweek posted an article today about an upcoming Audi coupe to rival the 911. I think I heard rumours about an 8-series in development that be in a similar position to the 911/MB SL type cars. If true, I hope they don't make them overbloated like the previous 8 series.

I agree, but is the current SL any less bloated than the previous 8 series??? (Obviously the 911 isn't) In the SL's segment, being bloated is almost part of the equation. I think theres a HUGE thrill being able to move a 2+ ton barge to 60 in ~5 seconds, but yet it has to maintain some level of dynamic handling, which (I'm sure) the SL does.
