Default This Year’s Chicago Auto Show Strives to Dazzle Car Lovers

CHICAGO — Chicagoans will get a special automotive valentine this year. Starting a week later than usual, the Chicago Auto Show will open its doors to the public for the 95th time on Feb. 14. Other than the period during and immediately following World War II, Chicago has hosted an auto show every year since 1901. And again, 1,000 vehicles will greet show visitors.

When the 2003 extravaganza begins at McCormick Place, located 3 miles south of Chicago’s Loop, some luscious concept vehicles and the very latest production models will clamor for attention. As in previous years, more than 1 million people are expected to pass through the entry doors during the show’s 10-day run. With 840,000 square feet of exhibit space on a single level, Chicago’s event is the largest show of its kind under one roof.

...Acura, Honda’s luxury division, will present the redesigned full-size RL sedan, which goes on sale as a 2004 model...

this will not be the complete redesign of the RL but just a refreshening...maybe it'll sport more power too

Knowing Honda, "redesigned 2004 RL" means black housing headlights and 3 more colors

Don't forget the "Redesigned Hi-Performance Alloy Wheels!" And the Cleared-out upper portion of the taillights...

I expect to see a NSX style update. Subtle changes that alter the way the car looks for minimal tooling cost to Honda.

Not even, for the MY2003 NSX's just went on sale three weeks ago. Honda won't invest $1 into a car that sells paltry amounts, especially when they just did a fairly substantial facelift.

Three weeks ago? I've seen two of them on the road by my house, in the bright yellow color.

rb6teg: The 2002's had the facelift and the MY2002 NSX's were released early due to it. Those could have been MY2002's. The 2003 NSX's just went on sale, albeit unchanged, three weeks ago
