Toyota Joining NASCAR?
true they are 3.5L but it is still a V8........who knows what honda will come up with if they ever enter Nascar......it is still a very long time away......even for toyota.....trust me if toyota dose well in nascar honda will soon be right there to beet them
Mr. Ganassi says that he felt the future is more secure with Toyota as an engine supplier. "Comparatively speaking, Honda just doesn't have the resources that Toyota has," he says.
Too bad CART changed their rules to the 3.5l engine. Then he would have been majorly screwed. Kind of ironic.

OMG, Honda will not join Nascar. At least not the Honda I know, and at least not anytime soon. Honda has been racing for decades now, and to join Nascar would be pointless. What are they going to race, the accord coupe? bah.
how can you say Honda wont join nascar...who would of thought 3 years ago Toyota would want to join but they are going to stat in 2007 ,, Toyota will for sure race there trucks with the Nascar Craftman trucks as early as 2004 that has ben confirmd............all I am saying is if Toyota dose well in Nascar Honda will right behinde them to beat them at it like everything elles they do.....and for what Bodys style they use who know what they will have out 6-7 years from now

this is old news. first of all nascar is not a car. its a sanctioning body. winston cup, busch grand national, craftsman truck, week racing series present by dodge, winston west, and a few other series are sanctioned by Dodge. also they do not use big blocks. Chevrolet is a 358SB, and the compression is 12:1 or 12.9:1 (cant remember off the top of my head) dont knock the sport untill u actually learn more about it and watch the races a bunch of times.
