Even though I like the 6's exterior the best out of all the option, the Accord sedan has THE BEST PACKAGE. The 6's interior is fine looking, but I like the Accord's so much more. The Accord's V6 motor is more refine and is a better performer than the Ford V6 block in the Mazda. The 6's handling is most likely tighter, but the Accord isn't far from being soft like the Camry.

btw, there's really no need for the name calling. :slap: :fawk:

If I wanted an automatic, maybe I'd like the Accord. But I don't want an automatic. Other options with a stick available are the Legacy which has no 6-cylinder, the Altima which is too big and the VWs which...are VWs.

Call me crazy, but if it came down to it, I'd rather have the Accord V6 Sedan with a 5-speed auto slushbox than the Mazda 6 5-speed. Mazda is a good company, and the 6 should be a good car, but the Accord offers more.

Since when it comes down to it, all of these are still sedans, I dont plan to be doing any kind of sporty driving. Also, isnt the auto accord faster than the manual 6?

I wish I could have the V6 and a manual, but ill have to sacrifice driving an automatic family sedan.

Car & Driver pulled a 0-60mph time of 6.8 seconds with the Mazda 6 S with a 5-speed manual. The Accord EX V-6 Sedan with 5-speed automatic did 7.0 seconds to 60mph...they're essentially the same.

I voted for the mazda 6 since it's for the sporting family sedan. I love the exterior of the new mazda 6 I think the new accord has a better engine though, but I still can't stand the styling

This is the first and last time I'll pick 'other'. I hate the 'other' choice, I admit it. I cannot stand it. But I think I'd rather wait until late spring and buy this beauty:

I'm sold. Anywhere above 200HP and I will drool all over this car...it's a beauty. Damned if it looks like the 6 (unfortuanate coincedance). 6 speed, and the USDM Accord Coupe interior...oh man.

I have to agree with you, 98. That is the best sports sedan of any on this list.

You say it as if it's painful to agree with me

The Mazda 6 just doesn't do it for me, although it's second on this list. It just doesn't have the classiness that the Accord/TSX does, nor does it have as nice of an interior.

I wasn't reluctant to agree on the car, I was reluctant to agree on a car that wasn't on the list. It seems like TSX talk isn't as hot as it should be. I totally agree with you in regards to the car.

AcuraFanatic -- Can you change my vote to other (or revamp the list to include the TSX)?
