Anyone think that the "hatred" for everything of a certain brand can be attributed to ignorance? :dunno: I can maybe understand "hate" for a certain model, but "hate" for a whole brand without valid merit is :down:.

 

Yup, I cant really say I "hate" a certain company. But I can say their products dont excite me at all and their quality is sub par. To deny that Honda makes good cars is pure ignorance.

I think they hate honda because some of honda owners are an a$$ too. I've seen several civic owners that admit their car is fast even when we all know that those cars are not built to be fast (but there are some really fast civic out there and I respect them). I think this kind of honda owner' behaviors that made them hate us. Well, who cares about them, there are always different opinions about cars, and to each his own. I personally think honda build great , reliable and fun to drive cars and I'll always love them :thumbup:

 

I find, at least where I live, that Civic's and Integras are the most modded cars around. Maybe this is because you can drop a ITR motor into almost any of them, swap parts from on to the next, and mods are extremely plentiful and range in price from very cheap to very expensive. I almost never see a Sentra or Corolla that is modded, and if I do it is usually ricey.

Most people around here love to talk how their Maxima, or Mustang, or Camaro, or Supra can beet a Civic. That's like saying I can beet a retarded kid in a footrace. But when it comes to cars that really compete against them, TL/CL Type-S, S2000, ITR they always back down. It is almost as if a Civic is the benchmark for speed.

Let them hate. It is only because of their jealousy of a better product with a far greater following. Honda is always tops in the field and those numbers can't be argued about. So what do they do next...nitpick about everything Honda does.

Some people just have too much time. Anyways now ive been seeing mustang w/ euros and bodykits to look like "ricers". There are a lot of hondas for show that aren't really that fast but then there are also some that are incredably fast and handle well. There will always be stereotypes and that like is one of them. Some people will always hate hondas ill probably always hate mustangs. Its just how it goes.

I don't really hate any cars. I go to www.LS1.com and give 'em sh!t every once in a while but not because I hate their cars but because most of them are dumbasses and are as ignorant as any ricer. Anyway, their cars are fine, I wouldn't buy one, but you have to admit there is something alluring about a 350 V8 just because of all of the power and torque it makes (and some go gaga over the sound).
