Default 2007 Mini Cooper

Last month, TheCarConnection brought you the first drive of the new MINI Cooper. But at the time, MINI engineers were reluctant to show the final details of the new hatchback's face. Now, MINI has sent out the first official pictures of the new Cooper, which will make its world debut at the Paris auto show in September. The new MINI is wider and gets a new four-cylinder engine, as well as a revamped interior.

But with a new front end and a totally redesigned, stronger engine.

I'd say it's just right for people who love the Mini and are tired of the current model.

The hood vent usually means it's an S... that or the center mounted exhaust.

But not much I imagine. It's just that all automakers refresh thier models in between complete redesigns.

Q: Is that longer Mini still coming out sometime soon?

i'm pretty sure this is a complete redesign - at least, in mini terms. every body panel on the car is different, not just the front end. it's about 6 cm longer, has a redesigned interior, and i think it sits on a different platform.

the base engine produces 120 hp, while a turbocharged engine makes 175 hp.

and yea, the pic posted is of the S. the base model doesn't have the hood scoop
