Acura has the best engine with the best fuel economy and horsepower. No doubt the next TL will have over 300 horsepower and better fuel economy.

not anymore, it was pretty good when it came out but now it's blah...

being more realistic the next TL will have a 6-speed auto, AWD and we will most likely see the return of a sporty series.

i'm thinking that there will be either a "type-s" or "A-spec" version with more horsepower and a 6-speed manual.

i'd expect the base TL to carry the same engine that is powering the current model, if not something slightly more beefy, possibly the RL's 3.5L

I expect the current wishbone suspension to return as it has always been honda's strong point.

I honestly doubt AWD.

i think theres a better chance of AWD happening than RWD. god knows they will be getting rid of the FF format for this car-- it's just not in the realm of the competition anymore.

IMO, repeat IMO,i think its probable that whatever engine the next gen TL gets its gonna have to be in the high 200 range, maybe even 300 or so in order to differentiate itself from the accord that is expected by many to get like 250+ hp in order to compete with the new camry, but then again i dunno.

with the new information on the type-s i expect my predictions to be dead on.

already they are introducing the RL's 3.5, so i believe by the next generation it will be in the base model (as the last generation held true to the type-s when it was upgraded)

I think SH-AWD at least as an option on some model is a given.
