It's very likely that the Scion xA will likely be replaced by a US-legal version of the Toyota Ractis "tall wagon," including possibly the CVT automatic offered in Japan.

It would certainly appeal to more drivers than the Scion xA, which is based on the Toyota Ist model sold in Japan (which I believe will soon go out of production).
