you most definitly can, but if you buy an 06 and put this on it you will gain that power and still ahve the waranty covering the entire car.

 

Yeah..... but you'd think they could make a little more than 170 HP naturaly aspirated with a 2.4 that has variable valve timing.

I guess they just don't want little Jimmy, who has never driven before, to blow the engine the first time he tries to autocross it.

 

the k24 only makes 160 in the accord....

and superchargers is what TRD does... it's what they've always done.

 

You could make more power out of that displacement if you designed the engine to rev higher. The tC engine is straight outta the Camry, Solara, RAV4 and Highlander. It's not a revver. The kit is also sold as a dealer-installed accessory for brand new cars, and as such is covered under the factory warranty. They need to be conservative enough with it that it'll be reasonably reliable even though dealers are installing it.

why not come from the factory sc and tuned ????????? i bet if you break something they will blame it on you and won't cover it............

 

as long as it's the equipments fault they'll cover it.

just like a factory car.


this way they can charge a premium and dont have supercharged cars sitting on the lot not going anywhere.
