Could Honda get any more unoriginal? They rip the taillights from the 7th gen coupe/TL and the new front bumper from the 6th gen coupe...what a damn waste. I'm getting really impatient with this car company.

I like the new rear but come on...Honda needs to realize that this is a super competitive segment and they need to either bring out designs like this in the beginning, or give us a marked improvement.

the only thing that changed was the tail lights. it was the same way for the civic. before the facelift, the sedan got tht jewel tail lights.

this is an old comment.. however, i still see it as a waste, especially after seeing these 06 photots. Hopefully the 8th gen will get a much needed styling boost.

Before we make opinions on it lets see what the production version looks like, but usually Hondas refreshes are cosmetic not complete changes thats what I thought they did with the 05 model what gives.

so... this isn't a cosmetic change? the refresh to the 5th gen accord was the same deal. the current civic's refresh wasn't only a tail light change, it also got a new front end treatment.... it's not like this is a huge change. they re-worked the tail end - so what? 95% of the car remains the same. i don't see why this is so shocking to some people.

Why are you making a BIG deal about this all I said was I thought the 05 with its all red tail lights was the refresh look. When Honda refreshed the 6th gen in 01 it was a minor change compared to the 06 with its all new rear end.

i made a "BIG" deal about it?

i was responding to your "what gives" comment. this refresh isn't too unusual by any means. sometimes they just tweak the appearnence of a light housing or bumper. sometimes they go a little further. it's nothing new
