I love the look of the new Coupe gauges, they are almost reminiscent of the Porsche 996 style of gauges, at least the font and the general style is. The new ass end of the sedan looks alot better, gives it some flavor. About time they put a damn armrest in!
The wheels of the EX Coupe are almost the same as on the 6th Gen Si.

my wife and i really enjoy or 2k1 civic...it's not as fun to drive as the 6g and older stock...but when we put on some 15" x 6.5" and with some good rubber it handles really well
btw...ex sedans came w/ a driver side armrest attached to the drivers side seat...it folds up and down

I like the sedan gauges. They're very Civic Hybrid-esque with the blue color scheme. The red scheme on the Coupe would be cool, except I've had my RSX with the red scheme for 9 months now, and it sometimes gets tiring because red is such an "ALERT! ALERT!" color, and can get distracting after awhile. (braces for verbal assault from the RSX coalition)
Also, I noticed the fatter steering wheel (a la RSX, but with 4 spokes) with extra big grips at 10 and 2. Nice touch.
Otherwise, I see nothing else that much different in the Civic, which I guess is a good thing.
However, this kind of bugs me about the new Honda's with automatics (not that I'd ever buy one). Anyone notice how they're taking a Toyota/Nissan move and having LED's next to the gear display on the dash let you know what gear you're in instead of the old style where the gear you were in would illuminate? I don't know, but this new look feels really tacky. My mom's Accord has it much nicer, and more elegant, imo.
I miss classic Honda design...

Babs are you 70 or something?...the red color is awesome :fawk:
I listed the changes, really not much has changed, but the overall look is nicer IMO. I too loved the gear being encircled in red or green a la 6th gen accord, but it's not a thing that'd bother me very much. I think the old design with that is alot nicer and more compact looking. I'm unsure why they changed it, it seems it's harder to see what gear you're in at quick glance now.

I like the improvments, but I think a little more power across the range would have been nice. It's got some tough competition in the new Carolla. I still prefer a Civic over it, but you get my point.

And I stand by my opinion that the RSX interior gaugaes would look so much cooler with blue backlighting.
