Is this the new concept CR-X?? What is this?

I was browsing the net, and came across an artists rendering of a small two door hatch, as it looks to me........

here's the link....does anyone know anything about this? It looks like it has some potential....but the date is 1997?

as the pic says, its the jv-x
its an old concept (97) and it sure looks like a crx concept
but i guess they killed the concept cuz we've never seen it since.

That is one of those thats so crazy looking, itll 99% chance only be a concept, but i bet we already see some of the features that it had in new honda's.

JV-X preceded the VV concept, which was basically the pre-production version of the Insight. Their overall designs are similar.

Crazy looking? From Honda, that's a pretty sedate concept. What about it's transparent disco on wheels a couple years back?
