I'm comparing apples to apples. Who's got what for sale at this moment in time, in this model year.

"All Ford sedans to be redesigned sometime by 2025" :chuckles:
Ok, then your argument will no longer apply the end of this year. Oh well, that's what you get for living in the now .
Oh, and IS300 is not a refresh 4 dr. NA Supra. The IS has been around in Japan for awhile now, so I don't see how it can be a refresh of a supra.

Good, but it takes longer than 6 months to cure

Thanks for deleting those pointless posts and keeping it civil.

Anyway back to the topic at hand, expect a "surprise" announcement of the new IS at the Geneva show. Supposedly Lexus wants to upstage the launch of the new 3-Series or at the very least draw attention away from it.

I truly hope so. I felt this generation bad attempt to enter a segment. Toyota seems to always do that... Just look at the Tundra. We know Toyota can get big HP if they wanted to, just look at the new Avalon for example. I really hope Lexus and Infiniti join the HP war with the German, so I'll have a viable upgrade solution in 5 years :-). IS just need more power and a lil better interior. G35 needs better interior.

Mike, doesnt that look alot like the JDM Toyota Crown?

And the IS300 is in fact a refresh of the JDM Supra. The Supra died in 2002 in Japan, and the IS300 chassis(SXE) is an evolution and a cut-down version of the JZ Chassis

Wow, that looks just like another Mercedes S-class rehash. Who would've thought? :reechy:

indeed it does.
sorry for the large pictures. this is the crown royal. the crown athlete also looks very similar. the current LS430 is the toyota celsior in japan. not part of the crown "family," but i don't know if they share a common root

HP war is fine, but I wish they would do it the old school way - with turbos, not huge V8s and V12s.
