The NSX sold 8 times worse than the slow selling Viper from the same period. In the end, the bean counters make the decisions, and it appears theirs has been made.

jesus christ

Now now, we don't need to be hostile. I've just read on vtec.net and they had an interview w/ someone (i forgot who) at Honda, and he said the rumor is false and that they're still true to the NSX and the last concept is thhe direction they're taking w/ the next NSX. Since it's selling in such small #, I don't think it affects Honda's bottom line very much. Also, if they discontinue the NSX, what will they use for JGTC and other racing series around the world? They need this car for racing purposes, so might as well make a few more to sell as a halo car.

No... I can say whatever the hell I want for however long.... that's my opinion, if you don't like it, ignore it, or as you put it, shut up. I may be wrong, but i'm sure Honda hasn't paid you for any of your knowledge of the NSX.

i've driven two NSXs (91 and 95 models). they're incredibly balanced, feel light and quick on their feet, and are easy to live with. but would i pay $90k for a new one? HELL NO!

I wouldn't pay $90k for the NSX either, but Honda didn't mean to create it as a good value. Part of the price is for the exclusivity factor.

Well that's probably why you bought a G35 Coupe. The interior is not what I would expect for $35,000. Or for $25,000. Handles great, excellent power, great brakes, but it doesn't put it all together. Puts the power quotient above all else. Yes, I've driven one.

It's all a matte rof personal taste. But you have to have your head pretty far up your ass to not understand the appeal of the NSX (and I'm not directing that at you, rich).

actually i bought it because there isn't a RWD coupe under $40k that matches it in value, style, or driving pleasure. the power quotient was not a huge factor overall. anyway, a comparably equipped 330ci would have been out of my price range. personally i dont have a problem with the interior (as with other G owners).

i know your other comment wasn't directed at me, but i do understand the appeal of the NSX and what spawned its creation. i'm a honda fan at heart, don't write me off as one of "those guys."

It is just a rumor, I very highly doubt Honda will kill the NSX. And if I had 90 grand the NSX would be the first car on my list! It still looks hot, still has great performance and I would not see myself at every other stop light. As a "Honda nut" the NSX is the ultimate car to own in my opinion.
