Great PS, integboi...as I remember, you did quite well in our contests

It looks so much better with that grille. Hopefully Acura changes it, but I doubt it. Why not establish a single grille for the entire brand? That would make the most sense. THIS CAR NEEDS MORE CHROME! I like chrome around the windows

IMO, when they transformed the sportier, more agressive looking LEGEND into the RL, its been downhill ever since the release of the RL prototype...

I guess im blind, but I really like the thing. Wide stance, short overhang, overall sporty look. The minor things I would change (the grille and the huge knob in the middle) might be gone by production time. Hell, the knob might even work well.

I'm not asking for a lot of chrome, just a few accents here and there.

On the bumpers where those little areas are raised up, on the door side moldings, the lip of metal above the rear lisence plate, and maybe the door handles. Essentially the level of chrome on the current RL.

I think some of you are a little too critical on the styling. I think it is great. Acura is always a little more conservative in styling than their competition. This, however, bodes tremendously well in the high-tech department and the "wait 'till we show 'em this cool feature" in reference to the SH-AWD....... and 300 hp!! 300 freaking hp out of an n/a V6 for mass production. Just when you think Acura is way behind with the RL's datedness, they pretty much whammy the auto industry with this gem. Honda just has to be sitting back, arms folded, with a devilish grin on their face.

Well, I'll be darned.

The RL finally enters the 21st century. AWD and 300 horses.

I would actually think about buying a luxury car for the first time in decades.

Addition: However, if they were feeling really brave, they'd find a way to lower the front hood enough to substantially reduce the front overhang.

I mean, Honda's never worried about what cars look like, anyway. LOL...

The sportiness you've added, however, might belay analysis of the demographics for the RL.

The TSX and TL manage to be conservatively styled in the Honda/Acura idiom without being as boring looking as this RL.
