But it bothers me when people attack Infiniti. Nissan hasn't had the resources to invest in making Infiniti nice and hasn't been able to bring over the JDM tyteness that you'd like to see. The G35 has changed that. Honda, Nissan, and Toyota don't make enough profit in Japan to NOT make their cars saleable in both the JDM and US markets as much as possible.

Lots of choices in the midlux area, and it seems many automakers are all updating at the same time. Obviously, I'm more interested personally in more entrylux, and it does seem to me that they all start to look alike and have all that technotrash once you start to move up past $40K stickers into midlux sedans.
A loaded BMW 3-Series or Infiniti G35 won't go above $40K, and most of your midux sedans are aboe $40K. I'd say that nearlux seems to be in the $30K segment (you can load an Accord V6 close to that), although the TSX makes a compelling argument below $30K (while SAAB and Volvo think they can, but don't).

But generally the segments fall out like I said. And above $40K is a lot for a car. Forgive me if I completely forget about lux sedans most of the time and lust after 645Ci or NSX or whatever once you're talking major money. $45K for a sedan? Nah, for that kind of money I want to make a statement about individuality. Wait, that explains why I like the Infiniti Q45.

So I do PR work for the Honda world over on FA and try to keep the Nissan-bashing here from getting out of control. So sue me.
h: You'd think Infiniti was the devil if you spent all your time here, and you may recall the "RL just another plain super-Accord" thread over in FA's Car Lounge.
Oh. And I know nothing about Nissans whereas I actually drive a Honda.
That's why I'm here. :chuckles:

That's why I'm here. :chuckles:well I love freshalloy (probably because of my nissan bias)...however people here for the most part seem more open minded then over there. Also I like to get away from GTRV35 as much as possible.
